The Easter Road outfit head for St Mirren today just three points behind leaders Celtic and one shy of Old Firm rivals Rangers. After the first round of fixtures big Yogi revealed he had been pleasantly surprised at how well his side had started the campaign. But keeper Stack, who arrived from Plymouth in August, revealed Hibs are right where he expected them to be.  

John Girvan acknowledges that the Old Firm aren't quite the force they used to be and that the fear factor just isn't there but Rangers should still be good enough to overcome the handicap at home to Kilmarnock. St Mirren defender Lee Mair is back following suspension for the SPL clash at home to Hibs on Saturday. In a further boost to boss Gus MacPherson, striker Craig Dargo has recovered from the shoulder problem that has kept him out of the club's last four games and Allan Johnston is also in contention after getting over his groin injury. Mo Camara, however, is out despite making good progress this week in training following his leg injury.  

Hibernian hope Liam Miller and Merouane Zemmama recover from injuries for the trip to play St Mirren despite both missing international duty in midweek. Sol Bamba and Anthony Stokes will have their fitness assessed, while Kevin McCann could miss another three weeks with a hamstring problem. St Mirren team news to follow.  

Kings travel to face the young St Mirren side tonight (8pm) still smarting at their recent home defeat at the hands of the Paisley outfit. Saints, Kings and Falkirk Fury, who are at home to East Lothian Peregrines at the Mariner Centre tonight, are in a three-way tie at the top of the table. "We were significantly out-rebounded by them last time and we must improve on that – we also need to improve our shot selection after only shooting three out of 22 from beyond the three-point arc last time," said

Stephen McGinn is confident he will be fit for St Mirren's SPL clash against Hibs after undergoing further treatment this week. The youngster has been struggling with back and hamstring problems in recent weeks and was forced off against Rangers last time out. However, he has made good progress since and is eyeing a return to action this weekend where he will also be looking to get back among the goals.  

Csaba Laszlo today revealed that Andrew Driver is out of Saturday's Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash against St Johnstone. The wing-king has a patella (knee) injury which could keep him out of action for the next two or three weeks. The England U21 international is one of a number of players who will miss out on the visit of the Saints.
